Last Terrible Tuesday

Hi hi hi
This morning was spent rather tearfully because all I could remember was that very first Tuesday here. I walked to TICS first hour in the dark of the morning, just as the first Tuesday, but this time I didn't have to ask Brais for directions.
The other Brais who never talks to me actually said "buenos días" to me, and even shy Fernando smiled at me.
I can't even.
I don't think I am capaz to leave.
About 15 minutes into the class, I looked over at Paula and said "Hoy es mi último martes en escuela española" and then I was a goner, bye, tears, uncontrollable.
Paula held my hand that whole hour and absolutely did not let go.

Castellano came next, which originally was not a great hour on the very first Tuesday because nobody made eye contact with us or nada. Now, we have so many friends in that class.
Afterwards was gym, where Jota once introduced us as the Americans with no friends.
I did not particularly enjoy gym this year...I made a large fool of myself every week...but I get a little choked up thinking of all of the crazy little antics that went down.......
We didn't have to change our clothes or anything; we watched 10 year olds play soccer.
It was a surprisingly intense game, but I spent the majority of the time taking pictures with people.
Pictures featuring:
The one-and-only SÚPER cani "Muchas Cosas" who vehemently refused to be in pictures with me because he's an obsessive drama queen about his appearance
Beatiful stunning Eva and Andrea Diz
And then of course....Olivia Matthews.

Also, if you are looking for an addicting iPhone game.....two words....CUBE RACER. You're welcome. My Españoles love it.

Curious, are you, about the PLAN DE IVÁN?
Pues......during the second recreo, I was talking to Paula about how I must talk to Iván more because when I am in America....no hay más.
Entonces.......I was joking with Olivia about things that Spanish people say like "a verrrrrr", "miiiiira", "escuuuuuuuchame" and in the midst of it all, I heard a "Morrgahn!" from my favorite voice.
I'm still smiling about this.
Iván asked my why I didn't talk much in TICS today and I told him that I was a little triste about it being my very last Tuesday in school and he responded with the musical words of "hay que quedar durante las Navidades, eh?" HE REMEMBERED MEEEEE; HE WANTS TO BE MY MAIPS
Then, I wanted to ask him if he remembered helping me on my first day, but, since he's Angel Iván, my Spanish wasn't a nice, smooth "¿Recuerdas cuando me ayudaste durante el primer día?" no, no...it was literally "Recr...recor...recreur..dios mio...  ¿Recuerdas cuando me ayudaste...?....¿En el primer día...?"
Well, yep....HE DID
And then he went on to tell me that he had no idea what was going on in that class either because it was his first day as well because he had previously gone to a private school and yadda yadda, so I pulled out the "gemmelos" (twins) thing and he agreed.
MAIPS MAIPS MAIPS (I hope you read that as obnoxiously as I'd intended it to be).

I'm really going to miss the frantic mental search for a new verb that I typically go through when I can't pronounce the one I want to use....

So after school por la tarde, (Griego, where we started the movie Agora, and Filosofía, where the teacher literally announced the final Filosofía grades in front of the whole class and changed them according to who she liked best....classy) I met up with the MAIPS Leila, David, Bianca, and Adrián in the Argentino because the Bica was full. Just Spanishing around, ¿sabes?
This is Adrián. Hi Adrián.

TOMORROW IS ALMOST THURSDAY, DIOS MIO
