Hi gente,I have 19 days left
Nineteen
Diecinueve
Eight plus eight
A bit more than two weeks
Ugh.
It feels like I'm stuck in a weird dream because I keep having flashbacks to my first days here.
To the purple crocs on the little girl sitting next to me on the way to Germany, seeing Vigo for the first time on the way to my new home from the train station, the drawings with Raúl, the message on Twitter from Paula offering help in her broken English, Flor realizing she was my neighbor.Exams exams exaaams!
Science exam? 2.75 out of 10 WOOOOHOOOO
But for the record, everybody got between a 3 and a 4 (2.75 rounds to 3) and I didn't study at all AND it wasn't in my lenguage so boo-yah, be proud of me.
Castellano? Didn't write anything except for a random sentence for 'aliteración' and 'hiperbolé'.
Luckily, in the rest in my classes, I either didn't have to take the exams or they are tomorrow......yipee
So entonces, last night Sarah and Davíd bajar-ed and we sat outside in the brilliant red chairs of the BiCafé like always for hours upon hours. Qué suerte tengo. There has been a large abundance of rain lately, which I am actually enjoying very much. I am soaked right down to my socks from running back and forth with Olivia and Davíd from the BiCafé to the correo store to the farmacia with umbrellas that frequently turn themselves magically inside out every 3 and a half minutes.
Lino (cute waiter guy) finally asked for my name (hola soy Morgan) and what day I'm leaving SCORE. I asked him to be my MAIPS and he said yes. Hehe
My little hermanita has been up to her eyeballs in stress and Manoli and I have been experiencing bursts of crying and screaming and mean little comments, but da igual, it's almost over, her last exam is finally tomorrow and we have been going over the 13 colonies as if we're actually in America. One day soon, the permanent frown and wrinkle between her brows will surely fade away.
In TICS we are studying Audacity. The room has been a symphony of strange sounds and tunes all week. The teacher decided it would be a cute thing if the American learned a Spanish song to go along with this schpiel. Good. Good.
I chose this song.
I've almost got it memorized, hip hip hooray! Davíd recommended it to me last Friday.
fslkfjsnglfjwgnwglsjfnsgs WHY DO I HAVE TO SING THIS IN FRONT OF IVÁN, OR ANYBODY REALLY?
My sister likes to remind me how ridiculous my accent sounds.
Chao.

These photos are from Pablo messing around with my iPhone.Featuring: Brais, Pablers, and me
He tried to take a picture with Iván but he wasn't paying attention
HOW FRUSTRATING
Next week, I will take pictures of every tiny little detail of Pino Manso because I'm already feeling a strong, sentimental sense of nostalgia coming on.
How am I going to leave these people.......?
From our very first week, Olivia and I have been dying to teach an English class, and today we got our chance! There are three parts to the exam: writing, listening, and speaking. We've already completed the writing portion, and today Olivia and I supplied the material to be listened to. We had to do a presentation on the differences we have encountered between Spain and America.
Lots and lots and lots of things.
We covered Food, Family, Lifestyle, and School. We dressed similarly in button down red shirts and black leggings because we are nerdy like this and read everything twice very slowly in English. I did a lot of ridiculous live-action-role-playing, and our classmates ended up saying that they understood me better. Whuddup
In the end, we all piled into the cafeteria because Raúl brought us a typical Galician dish: paella. It is a mash of shellfish and rice. Very fishy. What a sweetheart.
Actually, we haven't really talked to him in a long while because of the whole Hugo issue....and this was a rather startling awakening that he still loves us, lots of smiles, hip hip hoorah.
Those are some photos I creepily shot during history class......
Thought you might want to know where we did our presentation several days later....
But don't be fooled, the lighting was much dimmer today from all the rain.
I love you Abby, for rereading all of these today in class
So so sooo tired tonight, I plan to post more life details tomorrow.
Peace out,

......this is my new nickname, gifted to me by Olivia.
